Different score databases for each windows user

^ that happens a lot to me, and it happens because my sis plays once in a while. And it happens even if she's playing in her windows account. It messes up badly with my ranks. :<

I don't know how the score database works, but maybe it can be separate for each windows account?

It is just caching. Hit F5 if it really matters. I don't see this being moved to a per-user cache anytime soon, so please use this workaround.

I've already tried F5 a few times on two songs, but it doesn't seem to work for me... don't know anything else I could try. =|

Write a quick program to launch osu! as "Gens" or "not Gens" and just have the program move the pathname of the osu!db accordingly. It's pretty simple, really.

You've got Gens.db, guest.db, and osu!.db

Booting Gens.bat will run the command "cp -f Gens.db osu!.db" followed by the command "osu!.exe" and poof there you go

The above solution doesn't keep either db up to date though so you could hack that together in another 20 seconds by storing a "last accessed" variable in a text file and running an update on the last accessed db before copying the new db over

it might sound complicated but in all fairness it probably would have taken less time to write the batch file than it took to make this post

Where's Ephemeral to make a parser to get rid of all the non-User records on the db.
I have the same issue. I have a lot of non-Ph0X records in my database, not that it bothers me anymore, but back when I used to sort to see my low-accuracy scores, this would get very annoying.

And yes, it's not cache :<

Maybe this should be reported as a bug then? It's probably not clearing records out which has a record locally but not on server (only ones where they exist on server).
