What is #help for? Any question? Specific questions?

Hello!

So I have been in #help for a while now, and I have always thought that #help is only for technical difficulties, etc. But people think that #help is for any question related to osu! So I was just wondering, what is #help really made for? Technical difficulties or any osu! related question?

The channel description reads: "help for osu!newbies" however I'd like to think of that channel as just the go to place for pretty much any question relating to osu!. Mapping related stuff should be filed under #modhelp.

Hope that clears it up

  • ask in #help if you have
  1. technical problems like tablet doesn't work, or lags etc.
  2. gameplay related questions like how pp works or the gamemodes or having questions about skinning, etc.
  3. also beatmapping-related questions can easily be answered (#modhelp should primarly be used for it)
  4. questions about anything else as long as it is osu-related except questions like "what's the name of the anime of the beatmap?"
  • ask in #modhelp if you have beatmapping-related questions
