How do you add in a 2/4 measure?

I'm starting to map my first song, but I ran into a problem. At the end of the chorus of the song (Friends), there is a 2/4 measure that causes the rest of the song's measures to be off. Is there any way to fix it? My current BPM is 67.92, if that helps any. Thanks in advance.

Add a red (non-inherited) timing section where you want the metronome to reset. To add a timing section go to Timing > Add Timing Section.

Ah, thanks. That'll let me get finished with the map.

Just for pictorial reference just in case.

There's a timing section in the beginning only for reference. It's not neccesary. Only the one on the small white tick is.

I thought that this was possible with manual editing of the .osu file, but the editor still shows the taller white tick (denoting a new measure) as 4/4. If there were TWO measures of 2/4, it would be fine, but.. D:

Just make your uninherited timing sections backwards. That is, place the second one first to keep the same time correctly, and then the first one second to change to 2/4. Otherwise, the timing may be a tiny tiny bit off.
