I would just like to say I'm having a hell of a fun time playing Osu, it's a really fun game and gives me something to do when I'm free of school work.
Let's discuss how we're gonna get better at this game and hopefully get out of being a rookie xD

There isn't much advice to give, after a certain point you just play more

Also I'm a rookie because I don't play standard mode at all, and I only try to make beatmaps for it, and it takes me ages to get anything ranked.

What amount of PP is expected after 1000 plays?
I have 176pp as of now. I've only been able to play normal ranked beatmaps but only some Hard ranked as well.

pp doesnt matter at all at such a painfully abysmal level of play. worry about improving right now...
focusing on pp is actually going to slow down your improvement since it kind of prevents you from pushing yourself properly. i know for me anything that i can get pp off of is painfully slow and boring compared to what I actually want to play to get better.
