[resolved] How do you recover lost collections?

Problem Details:
From time to time, whenever I open up osu!, it will open with an error messaging saying something like "...beatmap database is corrupt..." and then it will proceed to process every single one of my beatmaps. After that is done, my collections have gone bye-bye. It happens so much and I hate to lose all of my collections of hundreds of songs. Is there a way to recover them?

osu! version: 20141122 (latest)
