It's not that I've ever ignored streams, nor that I plan on ignoring streams. It's just that when I play a jump map, I prefer not to have to do streams, as it causes me to have to make minor modifications as to how I hold my pen, so that I can more accurately tap fast enough. And tablet only is a perfectly viable style of playing, it just takes a certain kind of person. I've tried using my keyboard to click as well, but even when I was doing 3 stars, no matter how much I tried I could only play 1-2 star maps not tapping on my tablet. But overall it's worked out, so I plan on sticking with it.uberpancake wrote:
also how does tablet only work? are you just going to ignore streams and never play stream maps ever?

If it's "perfectly" viable even though it makes you change grip on streams, the common understanding of the word "perfect" is terribly overratedMakesnoSensei wrote:

Whats wrong with changing grips? Because I hold my mouse at an angle I experience a phenomenon very much like mouse accleration( by the end of a 3 min song my mouse is at the edge of my mat) And because of this change the way I hold my mouse quite frequently. I do still maintain a claw like grip, but move where my fingers are quite often. It works "Perfect" for me.Akali wrote:

Holding you mouse at an angle wouldn't make your mouse do anything like that unless you do have acceleration (or prediction). I think you mean to say you get mouse drift which all mouse users have to deal with (unless they keep their mouse facing the same position at all times).otoed1 wrote:

OP plays with a tablet. Having to readjust your pen grip depending on the pattern seems awkward and will probably make you miss on maps where jumps are mixed with streams. And that's what kinda happened to OPotoed1 wrote:

I have an obsession with jump maps. But I'm currently having a ton of trouble finding more jump maps that have low amounts of streaming (I play tablet only, so I like to stay away from streams if I play a map for it's jumps) but are also at a difficulty that I like. I know about all of the Jump Training maps, so I'm not looking for any of those, but if you have a jump map that's around 5-6 stars I would 110% appreciate it and love you forever if you could link me to it? I also looked around the forums a bunch for any similar posts and couldn't find one. :/
I would be really grateful if you could recommend me some maps. I've spent more than a couple of hours looking for maps that I haven't seen yet. OTL
Thanks!

Why don't you use keyboard to do dobles, triples, bursts and streams? You can still singletap using tablet.MakesnoSensei wrote:
