I've noticed has a lot of Fade-to-black transitions between screens. I can see why this might be implemented for smooth transitions, but when retrying songs a lot/playing with the Perfect mod, these fade to blacks can become very bothersome.
Fade to blacks I've seen:
- When skipping the intro of a song (very short ~0.066s)
- When bringing up the escape menu
- When failing a song on perfect mode
- When expanding/minimizing the Visual Settings menu from the escape menu
Flashes I've seen:
- When scrolling across beatmaps in the menu
This is an issue for me because I find it bothersome when it's happening a considerably large number of times a minute. I am not epileptic, but if I was I would be having seizures.
I propose a mode where these fades don't happen.
