I mean in the website, where you go searching for beatmaps.

Maybe give us an option to look for the top rated within a certain time period, like the past month or year etc
Another that would be awesome is most played in the past week, month year, etc

I know you can do it because it's on the home page of the website:
"Most played beatmaps over the past 24 hours"

Maybe this is possible, but only in osu!direct, since it already have the "Newest Maps", "Top Rated" and "Most Played"

would be something like this



Add the new option and move the "Show already downloaded maps"

The dropdown menu might have the following options "Order By:"

  1. Date
  2. Rating
  3. Something else (Comment more ideas)

Ahh here it is.

I think having it as part of the paid privileges is a great idea. It would give me a lot more incentive to pay, that's for sure.

The picture you gave was kinda confusing, since rating and plays are already at the top as those yellow and red buttons.

I'd say it could be called "Time Range" and the drop down could be
Past 24 hours
Past Week
Past Month
Past Year
All Time

So if you press one of those color buttons at the top, like top rated, and then put the drop down to "Past Month" it would give you the top rated of the past month. Peppy pls add

those buttons at the top are already in osu!direct, i just added the "Date" dropdown menu, but it could be better like "Time Range" as you said.

Ahh ok
So for rating, something like:
Beatmaps with at least 1000 ratings
500, 1000, etc
Same for plays

Though this would be a separate drop down from time. Since it would be pretty awesome if you could do something like
"Top rated within the past week with at least 200 ratings"
Which would offer a lot more accuracy, considering that some maps may not have been played by many people and so the rating wouldn't be as solid.
Look at this for example, highest rated of all but with only 26 ratings.

Time Range:
Past 24 hours
Past Week
Past Month
Past Year
All Time

For Top Rated

Input box where you type the minimal amount of rating must have.

For Most Played

Input box where you type the minimal amount of plays must have.

honestly, i think the "time range" its ok but "plays" and "rating" are unnecesary since you'll have "time range" for newest, top rated and most played.
