[confirmed] osu!direct doesn't play welcome song if pending download

Simply as the title states, go into osu! and download a beatmap, don't go into song select, open osu! again.

osu! will say "welcome to osu!" but the song will not play.

osu! version: 20141122.5cuttingedge
This can be done on any version afaik

Can replicate it when downloading a song via direct and staying at main menu and then restarting osu though can downloading a map via the website can replicate this bug? Just curious
