[resolved] [Web] Split search button in Forum

This is a feature request. Feature requests can be voted up by supporters.

So, when searching the forums, you will se 20 posts of the same thread, having you to scroll over them (for next topic)
If you enter search w/o searching, you can select Topic/Post

So... I recommend making the button on the forum splitting in 2 things
Search - Posts
Search - Topics
It would look like
Search for : [ ] (Posts) (Topics)
So you type in the search bar, and the (Go) gets replaced by the hereformentioned way

The main problem at the moment is that one cannot modify search result without going back to the search form again. There would be no need for this if the user can modify search result without losing them (ie toggle between Topic/Posts at the result screen sorts them differently).

Check out t/104701. I don't know if this will/can be addressed by the new site design.

or, just use search.php since you can display threads instead of posts
