Also, don't like =/= don't play. I just don't grind them for pp like other people do. Can't stand the music after 1 or 2 plays.
That 99.74% was done on my 2nd play where I pretty much SS'd the entire map and missed the last note. I don't retry for SS so that was a fluke. The only reason I even played symphonic love is because I watched cookiezi play the one map of the song so it brings back memories and I felt like playing it.

some of them are actually kinda nice songs (glitch remix and flutterwonder for example)
before that i had 10 FL maps in my top performance

moreso because they are mostly mapped to 1/2 beats with a couple of triples/bursts and a relatively low slider count. giving a ton of acc score for a map that isnt actually hard to acc.

Sometimes I play harder songs for fun, sometimes I farm PP for fun (yes it's fun to have the sense of accomplishment), stop judging people.

pp motivates you to play well, and by well I mean high accuracy to farm more pp
getting a 90% and 98% is a whole different matter when it comes to DT
Usually, you get better from farming DT. (well at least better at using DT)
With pp and more skills waiting ahead, I don't see anything wrong with me playing overweighted maps
And over time the pp given may correct itself again
The problem only comes after you have a habit of DT farming maps, you end up losing out in no-mods maps
it's not really about the habit, it's about it being harder and it taking longer to get faster than it is to get better at read patterns that are a little bit more complex but decently slower because it's an equivalent star difficulty nomod map.[MY] yummy90 XP wrote:

it took me way longer to get good enough with DT to actually set scores, like way more practice than it did for nomod... the ar and the speed and the accuracy requirement is a lot harder to get used to. i probably have at least 20 and at most 50 C or nofail dt runs on every map in my dt collection dating back in the day.. very few modless maps have above even 10 local replays for me.
DT gets way too much flak, people prefer it because its funner which doesnt make it easier. had i not put like 80% of my plays into DT i'd probably have better scores than i have now seeing as even though only like 20% of my plays are modless, a lot of those scores really compete with my DT's
