Sometimes I like watching anime openings and such but there is always that song that sounds crap with the hit sounds. We need a option to turn off the hit sounds for those who don't like it. That's all

I wouldn't recommend it (since it actually makes the game somewhat more difficult), but you always could just do this:
hotkey is alt + [wheel] up/down
