The play/pause/stop buttons aren't there in compose mode, and you can only seek by using left/right/the mouse wheel.

Hm... Weird, I didn't get this error while testing. Must be something wrong peppy-side

THOUGH, it's just a resolution problem. on 1024x768 works just fine

EDIT: Deleted duplicate thread. Sorry behonkiss, but it's easier for peppy this way

I'll try 1024x768 'till the next release. Thanks.

Oh don't worry, as soon as peppy wakes up i'll spam him!
Sorry for the inconvenience

Yeah I actually got this too. Good thing you have all the keyboard commands though so it's not unusable!

I was trying to start a new beatmap and when I clicked the song to open the editor, the little window with the "Do you want to save the changes?" message popped. I clicked "Yes" and I got an error.

Now. Everytime I want to open THAT song, I got this error message:

"Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index
Void ThrowArgumentOutOfRangeException(System.ExceptionArgument, System.ExceptionResource)"

I'll copy the song again and see if I get the same error when I create it.

EDIT: Yeah, I get the same error message.

attach osu file to take a look :P
Extor
Ok... here it is.

Do you need anything more? (Let's say... the MP3)

Cya

Download: Yngwie Malmsteen - Flamenco Diablo (Extor) [Hard].osu
kaeeepy
seems like it was a problem with the offset
try now

Download: Yngwie Malmsteen - Flamenco Diablo (Extor) [Hard].osu
Extor
Yeah, that works. But still doesn't take the fact that whenever I try to create a beatmap, I get that error.

Try it yourself, copy any Mp3 on the Songs folder and try to open it.

I have no clue what this error means, but it happens when I try to edit a song that doesn't already have a beat map created.

Anyone else get this error?

I'm getting the same problem, and whenever I try to edit the file, it crashes my editor. Which is odd, because my editor was working perfectly fine a few hours ago.

Sorry for the inconvenience, i'll tell peppy about this as soon as he wakes up.

For the time being, if you want to create beatmaps, do it normally, and when that error pops up, close the game, go into the folder of the song you're making, and proceed to open the .osu file with notepad.

If there isn't a line called [TimingPoints] add it, and add this line below: 5000,434.782608695652
It should end up like this

[TimingPoints]
5000,434.782608695652

Make sure there aren't any more number lines between "timingpoints" and the next "section" (sections are noted by the [] symbols)

This seems to be a problem with the new build... It was working on the testbuild, so something got messed up inbetween.
It'll be addressed soon, so be patient please x)

I have reliable testers :)

I get this error.

peppy
Calm down and read the other 4-5 posts about it. It will be fixed in the next 15 minutes.
wheeliedude
Heh...sorry!
Must be annoying, eh?

Well, whatever. I'll wait.

Locking topic...

I got the same problem. I'm working around this by copying timing points and hit objects from other beatmaps and shoving them in my .osu file. Seems to be a temporary solution until this is properly addressed ^^;
wheeliedude
Weird, pep combined all of the topics...
I didn't know that others had this issue, as I had only downloaded osu! just this night...
kaeeepy
ahah let the poor peppy eat some breakfast at least
peppy
Its amazing how many people posted the same error! At least I have that word "beta" still in the game's name - thats a good excuse for somethign like this happening :p.
