What would happen when their subscription ends though? The work put into their homepage would just vanish?
I first saw this and thought "no way in hell", but the more I think about the idea, this could be the way to get people to stop making huge signatures with all their maps and god knows what else in it. I could see this working as a forum-editable thread which would also be available in the user's profile under a new tab "My Page" or something.

This could actually work out pretty well... 
As long as it doesn't turn into a big social networking sort of thing, this could work well. And I like the idea of it being subscriber-only, but would could lead to non-subscribers still creating "personal use" threads. The question is if we would still allow that.
Available for subscribers for testing (from your profile). Depending on how things go, I may make it available to all users in the near future.
