Decided to pick the second background image as it fits great for me.
Too bad Merlin (the girl with white hair) comes a bit short in this one as the HP bar is overlappingher. :(

  1. just wondering, but how did you decide on the ar? personally i think a flat 9 is fine since the hard is already 8 but i'm just curious about how you picked 8.6
  2. i liked some of the stop and gos and other times not so much, it's important to consider how the map will be looked at by someone who's never heard the song before, jumps do indicate strong beats but these beats must be able to be anticipated by the player
  3. 00:16:632 (1,2) - think this was mentioned but i feel a little iffy on the stop-go motion here, the overlap conflicts with how this part is actually played and while playing it felt odd compared to 00:18:028 (4,1)
  4. 01:06:865 (1,2) - really not a fan of this spacing, the antijump is fine for 2, 3 and 4 but you space this out more than you space your 1/2 beats from earlier which is confusing. also, this spacing is the same as 02:15:063 (3,1) except there it's on a 1/2 beat which makes sense to read
  5. 01:27:970 (1,2,3) - your spacing here makes the rhythm confusing for people who aren't familiar w/the song
  6. 02:04:249 (1) - doesn't the guitar in the music start on the red tick before this?
  7. 02:07:911 (4,5,6) - i think you need to move 5 so it resembles the shape of 02:07:563 (1,2,3)
  8. 02:26:749 (2,3,4,5) - spacing here's pretty large compared to the chorus you just mapped and it doesn't seem that necessarily, you don't have to shrink it by a lot but i think the spacing can be reduced just a bit
  9. 03:35:470 (1) - sounds like you suddenly wanted to follow drums and create a slowdown or something which i'd suggest against because you want to make this part strong. the vocal begins at 03:35:295 and i think 1 should go here instead

  2. i liked some of the stop and gos and other times not so much, it's important to consider how the map will be looked at by someone who's never heard the song before, jumps do indicate strong beats but these beats must be able to be anticipated by the player I try to keep that in mind.
  3. 00:16:632 (1,2) - think this was mentioned but i feel a little iffy on the stop-go motion here, the overlap conflicts with how this part is actually played and while playing it felt odd compared to 00:18:028 (4,1)The latter made for a more noticeable tone jump, so i used the stop-and go on the first one to make it more distinctable from the second. At least that's my interpretation of this part. I will consider it, I want to discuss this with other people first.
  4. 01:06:865 (1,2) - really not a fan of this spacing, the antijump is fine for 2, 3 and 4 but you space this out more than you space your 1/2 beats from earlier which is confusing. also, this spacing is the same as 02:15:063 (3,1) except there it's on a 1/2 beat which makes sense to read I exaggerated a bit here i guess, toned it down to 20.0xSV so it complements with the 2nd antijump.
  5. 01:27:970 (1,2,3) - your spacing here makes the rhythm confusing for people who aren't familiar w/the song Thought so, I will arrange it a bit different then.
  6. 02:04:249 (1) - doesn't the guitar in the music start on the red tick before this? I think you mean the piano? It does, I can't follow that glissando properly, and as 02:04:249 - is the strongest beat here, it's fine to have the slider start at this point.
  7. 02:07:911 (4,5,6) - i think you need to move 5 so it resembles the shape of 02:07:563 (1,2,3) The current position is intended.
  8. 02:26:749 (2,3,4,5) - spacing here's pretty large compared to the chorus you just mapped and it doesn't seem that necessarily, you don't have to shrink it by a lot but i think the spacing can be reduced just a bit It's even more pleasing than what I used in the first kiai time. The focus is not set on the chorus here, but on the beats in the background music.
  9. 03:35:470 (1) - sounds like you suddenly wanted to follow drums and create a slowdown or something which i'd suggest against because you want to make this part strong. the vocal begins at 03:35:295 and i think 1 should go here instead I never followed the vocal at these 2nd kiai time sections as my focus lies on the kicks of the music at this part. Listen to the background music at this part, the slowdown is justified as this part is not as strong as what came previously and it creates a better momentum for what is coming up next.
  10. 03:41:574 (4) - i think you should use a long slider around here to emphasize at least part of the vocal like you did at 03:40:528 (1), then switch to drums instead of switching right away Funny, I wasn't mapping to the vocal there either, but to the percussion - nice side effect though. :D No change here.
  11. 03:50:470 (6) - don't think such a strong beat should be on the repeat part of the slider, try a different rhythm? Actually thought so too, but I can't come up with a better rhythm pattern. Setting circles in here would feel awkward as well.

  3. 00:45:237 - Again, add a finish to follow the cymbal? It'd make the rhythm here make a little more sense, too, IMO, considering you have to leave out the vocal at 00:45:412.

  10. 01:59:888 - Add a finish and clap here? They definitely go well with the instruments, compared with not hitsounding them at all.

  12. 02:09:132 (3,4,5) - ...I am honestly not sure with this. The pattern looks pretty messed up in terms of design, to be blunt. Try making something that won't make them look cluttered?
  13. 02:18:202 (4) - Is the whistle on the slider path here intentional? Because I don't think so...
  14. 03:29:365 - 03:34:946 - Whoa, hold on. Hold on. This part can get too intense for a Normal diff due to the usage of 1/2 sliders, those 1/2 sliders with two repeats, and the intensity (not even a 1/1 break is included in-between). I'm not sure why are you doing this, but please tone this down.

  2. 01:06:865 (1,2) - It's very easy to mistake them to be spaced by 1/2 beats instead of 1/4. Try making (2) closer to (1)? I mean, seriously, this can throw off players, and is almost impossible to sightread at least. This also doesn't go well with the anti-jumps after this.
  3. 02:15:237 (1) - Why don't you add a finish here to emphasize the instrument?
  4. 02:27:446 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - This looks a little randomly shaped, honestly...
This map is pretty cool, I must say \o/
