I have other people in the house, and a personal desire to play the game without having to look at crap like this on a regular basis. (Seriously, is that gnome supposed to give me a boner or something...?)

The osu client is getting whiny since I deleted the background outright, but can we maybe get an option to disable backgrounds completely/for certain beatmaps?

Just go to the options in osu and type "Background Dim". Just set it to 100% and walla. All maps have a background dim.
Oh and the creator peppy said he will never disable or add a feature to remove beatmap backgrounds in osu! Sorry.

How does this map even give you one. It just a SFW pic. Calm down bro

So what its just a client it does not have feelings. The reason it says that is because of obsolete stuff.

I will probably get yelled at for reviving this especially since other threads on the topic are very disliked. However nobody mentioned the fact that even with dim turned to 100 percent, every time there is a break in the song(or at the beginning/end) the image appears.

Also to peppy saying "I have no idea why you would want this" The reason I want to have a fully dimmed background the whole time is because I live with my parents still and when they walk in and see these images that are borderline porn it is very questionable to them. I honestly wouldn't care about a few random images but the fact that 40 percent of the backgrounds in this game are anime boobs makes me want a way of dimming backgrounds completely.

I understand that many beatmappers spend a lot of time picking out/designing nice backgrounds that fit the song. The minority of beatmappers that pick irrelevant boob pics ruin the whole thing for me though.
