How to play high AR?

So i'm playing more CtB atm, but there is one thig I struggle with
Ar 8+
I have no problem with Ar 7 + Cs 7 together, but Ar8+Cs4 already kills me.
I also cannot play Ar higher than 8.
How to read high Ar in CtB?
I have no problem playing the maps with Ar6, but when it's 9, I can't even get close to passing.
I'm tbh not going for Ar10, so 9 is max I really want to learn.
Any way to practise High Ar except playin more? (Like Easy Ar8 to learn it)

seriously, practicing can be tedious, but i too was at your stage and with lots of playing, i manage to pass your barrier and beyond.

i just managed to learn "easy" AR9 Maps
i played AR0-8 for a very long time and often tryed to get into AR9 but it never worked out.
But in the past time i really got the incentive to push my skill, so i think its more about dedicating yourself
to really try to react faster and read the movement properlly. And as i noticed its really easier to start Nomod on AR9
because all the other AR's do have quite a different feel when trying to read notes and patterns, probabbly because of the ms-reaction time difference

1. try using hd, it'll help to keep your sight at top side of screen so you can react faster
2. try to see your screen as a whole and never keep your focus at the catcher. maybe unless you're playing map which require high precision
3. try to find a good skin and config which suits you
4. play more and just enjoy the game, seriously

extra: try playing using a transparent catcher by relying at combo number, it's fun

Play tons of ar10 and you'll be god at ar9 :3

The biggest problem is that I move somewhere, and when I notice a note and I'm going to move to that note, I can't even read it, so I miss it, because my character hasn't arrived yet

Play easy AR8 stuff (if you have trouble learning AR8) and then move on to harder stuff.

Go look if you can FC this, shouldn't be that hard

AR9 is....well, for me it's (or better: it was) just practice. You'll get used to it if you play it a lot. Also, start with easier maps first (tbh, I can't remember any "easy" AR9 map tbh (this should be close though), but there are a lot which aren't that hard, for example this or this (EDIT: Forget these two, they're ridiculously hard compared to what i found by looking through my maps...). There are also a lot of ugly AR9 maps with unnecessary jumps and whatnot.

If you want, I can look which AR9 stuff I've FC'd, then you can start practicing with that. I'm not a very good player myself, so it may help. xD
