from my queue:

since the image was basically a square, making it 16:9 would have required much too much cropping and resizing (or some reflective border things, but you don't seem to like those :P). So, I cropped the image to get it to 1024x768, then added some slight color curves in order to get it closer to what you had. I also cropped it in such a way so that 16:9 players won't have any of the text abruptly sliced in half when osu crops the 4:3 image to 16:9. Anyway, here is the bg:
