Everything you typed in the text box is gone if you accidentally close the browser tab, click a link to go to another page, or hit the back button or refresh button. Basically, if you leave the page in any way. I have lost many mods or replies to mods when this happens to me and have made it a habit of copying/pasting everything into Notepad for backup.
