Well, recently I've been watching some guys playing and their cursor movement were so different from mine,
Does Raw Input have anything to do with it or not ?

I'll post my replay
http://puu.sh/av6VN/7b7fefca30.osr - Me playing An - Artcore JINJA [Lunatic] - map link : https://osu.ppy.sh/b/297411

By the way I am using osu!tablet, I don't know if it is the tablet,
Look at my note jumps, I jump to other notes so awkward when a lot of people jump straight, like in a straight line, well, hope you guys understand me...

thanks anyways

Yes. I don't think raw input affects tablets since they're based on coordinate and not movement, but I'd just tick that thing just in case. Or maybe you need some more practice or a new driver

Keep in mind that raw input only affects people using mouse acceleration.

Raw input works great on the 1st batch of osu!Tablet; I got one of them and it pulls good latency (1-2ms resting, 2-4ms moving). The last batch didn't fare so well and was advised to install manufacturer's driver instead of running bare.

I am using the second batch of osu!tablet, I've disable Raw Input and it's a little bit better now, I'm just wondering how those player can jump straight lined to any other notes, while I jump in circles x.x

Do you hover over the tablet or do you drag it?
Oinari-sama
Straight line or curves, I think it's more of a personal habit. It also depend on how far you lift your pen during jumps.

No need to worry about it :)

If you play with mouse, you should use Raw Input

Hover, I think that dragging is a bit harder and I dont know whats better :(
@ A i k a, I am using osu!tablet

@ Oinari-Sama, Thanks for the info :). Yesterday I was playing at a friend house and he told that the problem was my table & monitor, I have such small space for my arms and hand plus my monitor is a little bit small, when I saw him playing and he was actually doing some straight lines, I was about to try but I had to leave, I was late for dinner, by the way his pc spec are way better then mine, his osu! Runs so clean and perfect, I get some spikes on my computer.. But well, I guess I'll have to see what I can do.

Thanks everyone

It's essentially a part of what we call "snapping". Snapping means going from note to note in a perfect straight line, and after you hit the note, wait a couple of ms and move suddenly again in a straight line. Snapping is waaaaay easier to do with mouse, since it's the most natural thing to do, but it's harder with a tablet and requires some practice. Basically, in order to snap, you need to start seeing each note individually and stop thinking in whole patterns, if that makes sense. For example, instead of looking at a square of notes, look at each note of the square individually then hit it. Once you get used you jump way better.

Source: used mouse and tablet more than 2 years each.

also hope my explanation doesn't suck

I assume that's a question for me :3

Well some people plays more "mechanically" (ie straight lines, strict snapping, looks like Auto mod) while others "dance" more while playing (curved movements, good but not-so-strict snapping). Whatever suits you really.

While it's harder to "dance around" at higher level plays, you can still notice some difference between players. Some are just more "wiggly" than others xD

Hehe, I mostly like dance (curved movements) but, sometimes is pretty hard to hit notes cuz of this curved movements :(

Hey guys, I got an update, recently I've been watching some ingame replays so I managed to watch WubWoofWolf's one,
This guy do the straight line I am talking about, but check at WWW playing http://youtu.be/HNDtqN7XIdk?t=1m38s (jump to 1:38), he tries to do a circle, actually he did with his pen, but ingame it was like a square , I wonder how he do that, http://youtu.be/HNDtqN7XIdk, watch how he does his movements with his pen and watch it on the game, its completely different, I want to know how to do that :(
