How about this.
BATs are as a whole, self righteous faggots who always try to stand on the side of strict morality. To the point of fault.
They never want to silence or kill because it's not really fair but when people have negative opinions they are shocked that negative opinions may be offensive and hardly hesitate to take action.
Fucking seriously
Question: is that half worth understanding?lukewarmholiday wrote:

90% of the chat isn't worth understanding, that's why I made this rage thread.awp wrote:

Forum Games/RandomPossible third reason for thread relocation
The place where you do post crap.
Yet, it's the place where almost every single thread is full of creativity.awp wrote:

Well to be honest, you don't really promote yourself as a person with valuable opinions. Not everyone is quick to look past the sarcasm and satire. Even still, there are some people with an "I'm wright your wrong" attitude. Still there are people like ephemeral who may disagree but I have to respect because their reasoning for their opinion is generally pretty sound.Ph0X wrote:
I'm not sure about complaining but I tried having actual arguments and 2-3 lines later I get called "stupid" and every kind of insult you can imagine but having a different opinion and not agreeing with everyone.

And I'm guilty of giving serious responses. Because you're begging for them, really.
And yeah, I agree, I don't see any new faces in the forums, ever.
On the flipside, chat seems more new-member-friendly.
When I joined @~June, it was only senior members.
I wouldn't really describe it as sarcasm. I put myself on the other side of the argument and disagree, not for the laughs, but for having an interesting discussion. And like you said about people being still cool when it's all done, I'm always up for it but as I've experience in the passed, because just can't stand having someone disagreeing with them.lukewarmholiday wrote:

I'll challenge that opinion but as long as both parties still cool when all is said and done, it's just the more you know.
Not really.Ph0X wrote:
Well, I wasn't really talking about the account age. More like, if you're someone that has been around for longer, you are more likely to be taken seriously than someone who no one knows the name of, and randomly tries jumping in a conversation. Of course, not everyone is like this. I myself sometime tend to ignore randies when there are alot of people typing, so I'm not a very good example, but there are also people who don't judge at all.awp wrote:
account age != respectability
people will remember you for and judge you based on your conduct, not your account id
Even though account age != respectability, I'd still have to say that there is a slight corrolation.
NachoPiggy is a prime example of how to be young and not be a tard. Edit: well I geuss he's 16 now. Oh well he was still better than I was back when I was 15.Ephemeral wrote:

Look when I joined. Look at my title.
Age doesn't matter really all that much to anybody who is worth a damn. I like to think our community isn't quite that petty that seniority overwhelms common reason in these sorts of things.

I don't watch TV so I don't understand wtf you're talking about.awp wrote:

Fox News consists of a bunch of hardcore conservatives that are unable to have an open mind about anything. They're basically foot-washing baptists, and I think one of the more big-name news stations or broadcast corporations or what-not recently declared Fox to be a fictitious news station in order to prevent people from taking them seriously (since they shouldn't be.)strager wrote:

I can't tell what you're talking about without the proper colour coding. Sorry.awp wrote:

I'm actually really surprised people weren't aware of this. Hell, Colbert and Stewart take digs at Fox News all the time.
