Advice for new headphones

OK, here's the deal. My headphones are bad. I need new ones.

price range : < 120 euros
- Good microphone
- Wearable all day with no discomfort
- I don't want people next to me to hear what's going on in my headphones, so good isolation.

If possible, I'd like something durable with a good sound quality. 5.1 / 7.1 are not mandatory.

Does anyone have suggestions? I'm tired of being disappointed with headphones.

EDIT: I'm not trying to save money. If you can find better than what I'm looking for and still stay within my price range, I'll probably go for the better rather than the cheaper.

You probably want to have what I have, if your walmart sells it. Other than that, DO NOT buy those expensive 120 headphones. I currently have a 60 dollar headphone, a 40 dollar headset, and a 10 dollar cheap headphones that have lasted for about 8 years, but with horrible discomfort. A beats solo sparkling looks a bit uncomfortable, but right now I see they are about 20 - 30 dollar range. My advice? Don't buy a Beats headphones over 100 dollars, or any really. Chances are they will break within 2 years max.

I have a pair of 2$ headphones i bought from the dollar store. They sound fine but aren't entirely too isolating.

Just find a cheap, decent pair from walmart or some other discount store.

I don't want to settle for something decent. I have money to put into a pair of headphones, So might as well get what I'm looking for. I doubt a pair of 2$ headphones will get me a crystal clear microphone, and I'm skeptical about the comfort I'll get.

I'm sorry, I should've made it clear and said "Headset" so you wouldn't think I'm looking for earbuds. I'd like to purchase a headset that I can wear 36 hours straight without any slight discomfort. I'd like to be heard perfectly through the integrated microphone.

I have a 40$ HP Headset I got a year and 1/2 ago that does the job, but gets uncomfortable after a mere 20 minutes of use. I'm trying to step up from that.

Logitech G430 Lightweight 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset ON-CABLE Controls LAY-FLAT Earpieces Mic($64.99 CAD)

Corsair Vengeance 2100 Wireless Dolby 7.1 Gaming Headset Noise Cancelling Microphone($99.99 CAD)

I'm not too sure about comfortability, and the customer reviews don't tell much, so i don't know whether you want these or not.

Lol, I never use headphones to play Osu ~

Steelseries Siberia V2. The are durable, great sound quality, comfortable and great value for money. I pretty much live in them and I don't feel any discomfort.

except the sound isolation is average. if you can get over this they would be great.

I would just save up and buy a good pair of headphones. I personally use these. I've had them every day and I've been using them excessively for about 5 years, and they are still in perfect condition. The sound quality is just incredible. It really makes you appreciate sound so much more. Those particular ones are a little bit on the expensive side, but you can find cheaper headphones with similar quality (you don't absolutely need reference grade unless you're doing music production or something). I know that not everyone wants to spend a lot on headphones, but I'm just trying to point out how great of a purchase it can be. They really have made osu! extremely enjoyable for me.

You can always just buy a microphone seperately and that way you can get a good quality microphone as well. Gaming headsets are generally inferior in quality and have marked up prices due to it being "gaming" paraphernalia. I would advise doing research and spend at least an hour reading up reviews online, especially if you intend to buy something from a gaming company. Treat it as if you're buying a part for your PC and you want to get the best quality possible for the price.

I find using a seperate mic uncomfortable, and I don't have much room on my desk for that. So Headset it is.

The G930 and G430 are two models that did look interesting, but I generally try to stay away from wireless, and I've been told multiple times to stay away from logitech Headphones.
The corsair seem interesting though, I'll have to see if I can get them shipped to me at a decent price.

I've talked to people who own the siberia v2, and heard great praise about it. Only thing is, I'm not convinced with the microphone. So, Siberia v2 is a candidate if I can't find a better mic for <120 Eu.

Thanks everyone for your help up 'till now btw :)

IMO, if you have the money, it'd be a lot better for you to go for an audiophile-oriented pair of headphones and something like an AntLion ModMic instead of just going for a headset, as generally, headsets tend to have worse sound quality for their price when compared to similarly-priced headphones, especially at the $100-200 price range.
I personally use a Sennheiser HD 449, and have put it through some pretty rough times (threw it at a wall once. Had to duct-tape it but it still works :P) and it still sounds great. I have a ton of desk space though, so my setup has a Blue Snowball mic, but I'm sure the mic I mentioned earlier (or at least a similar mic) would be fine for your needs.

You know, there are other expensive headphones other than Beats that are a lot better audio and build-quality wise. Don't just stereotype all expensive headphones with the worst brand of headphones, it just doesn't make sense.

Do what YayMii said, gaming headsets all have fairly bad sound quality across the board (except ones made by Sennheiser and AKG because those guys actually know what they're doing).

As I said before, sound quality isn't my biggest concern. If it were, I'd definitely go for Bose or Sennheiser. My desktop space is VERY limited. Ex very Time I put something on it, three things fall off. I'm at the point where I put my cup of coffee on the bookshelf behind me. I'm not a huge audiophile anyway, and I have decent headphones for music. I'm looking for a headset with an integrated mic, and there's no way I'm changing my mind. I've thought it over many times. Now the question is, what can I get for 120 euros, and what headset will satisfy my needs / expectations?
TakuMii
I'm not sure if you've even read my post... the AntLion ModMic is a mic that attaches to your headphones, not your desk. It's meant to be as effective as an integrated mic.

And what happened to this:

As far as I'm concerned, the only gaming headset worth its price is the Astro A40, and that's well above your price range. If you really don't want to settle for less at your budget, you might as well go separate.

Oh sorry, I didn't realize that the mic attached to the headphones, I just assumed it was a desktop mic. If it can allow me to get better quality equipment for the money I'm putting in, I'll seriously consider it. Thank you :)

There's the "20 $ headphones" type of decency, and the "oh my, this microphone is crystal clear, and I've pulled 2 all-nighters in a row and it's stilI comfortable! I just wish the bass rendered a little better" type of decent. I won't settle for the first type, but I will for the second.

You can get the Audio Technica ATH-M50s, which are generally regarded as the best you'll get for a mildly expensive amount of money, from Inta Audio right now for £82, which is like 100EUR. They have no mic, nor do they have the 7.1 channel surround sound scam, which you can get by enabling headphone virtualization in your audio drivers, but they're supposedly super high quality for their price. They're super popular, so you can find 7 septillion reviews for them with a single google search, if you doubt Mr.random person on the Internet. Link

I second this, being what I use for hours every day. Very comfortable, and although I'm not audiophile they sound pretty good to me.

As for the mic, it's not top of the line for sure, but unless you're doing professional recording it's more than adequate for casual use.

Soundblaster tactic3D wrath (or whatever edition they are on now) has lasted me for for 2 years now and still works wonders.
