Question:Osu profile nameplate?

hi, im sorry if i shouldn't post this here, but id like to ask how people put their name on their avatar pictures, i know it might be an easy question, but id like to know how they do it and put the special,glow effects on the name plate.

Photoshop, paint.net, some website on the internet.

There's loads of ways to do it.

Now if you need some fancy fonts because you got none, google fancy font and download and install the font you want from the websites that offer them. Or just use the generate image feature some of these websites offer and copypaste your text into your image.

Lastly... dont use a name on your avatar, that looks almost always fucking horrible.

Besides, any image editing software can do this. Heck, even the windows native paint can do this...

Photoshop guide to adding glow: Right click the layer with text, click blending options and then find "Outer Glow". Use a 1px stroke border and then outer glow for more visibility

i think we're long since done here.
long story short, go to the Art forum and ask in a queue(read the rules first), or learn how to add it yourself. there are plenty of tutorials around
