So, I have the basics of mapping down, and I've been trying to test my maps. However, there seems to be a problem with it! Whenever I test my maps on Osu!Mania, it has every column and only one or two notes in a few of them. I would really like to know if there's a way to clean this up on a general, all uses beatmap. Thank you!

I don't even know what the problem is, but if you are trying to map osu!mania, there is a specific specialized editor for that. You just have to go to Song Setup (F4), go to the last tab (Advanced, I think), then click mode specific and select the appropriate mode. Once that map has osu!mania selected, you will have a dedicated osu!mania editor.
Osu! automatically transforms osu! beatmaps into osu!mania (and taiko/CtB) beatmaps using its own algorithm, which often time doesn't work very well, and you can't do anything about this.
