I saw your help request on the modding queues forum, and I think I can help you finding the right timing ^^
BPM ---> 85 (?) Correct √
Offset ---> 15,060 (?) Nope
Try this for offset ---> 13,648 (So the kiai would start on big white tick ^^)
I'm a new mapper, so you could ask for other person opinion ^^

Well, because I'm here, I'm going to mod Generally ^^

1. You must set preview point. Choose where you want to set the preview point by scrolling the timeline, I suggest it to be at 01:12:942 or 02:29:177 but well, it's up to you ^^. And then go to the timing tab (File, Edit,.....,Design, Timing) and click "Set Current Position as Preview Point"
2. Fill the source and the tag. It's from an anime called Kyoukai no Kanata right? Then put it in the source. For the tag, you don't have to put the artist, title, or the source again. Example : anime full version ending .... etc.
3. You must use distance snap. You can adjust the distance spacing by pressing Alt and scroll your mouse. For hard, you can use 1.3x or 1.5x, for normal you can use 0.8x or 1.0x but again, this is up to you ^^ You may disable distance snap for a while in hard to make jumps, but this is not allowed on normal.
4. Kiai time here 01:57:060 is unnecessary, consider removing it. As well as here 01:12:236
5. Timing point here 04:39:236 is also unnecessary.
6. Have you use hitsound? (Whistle, clap, finish, etc) If you haven't, you must add some hitsounds.
7. Don't forget to check AiMod (Ctrl+Shift+A). And snap your kiai end ^^

Well, I think that's all. Pretty good for first map eh?

Maybe I could do more detailed mod after you fixed the general problems which have pointed out above ^^ Just PM me if you want re-check ^^ But you know, I'm a new modder so maybe my mod won't be useful

Hello again~!

First of all, have you actually applied my mod? I realized that you haven't set preview point, haven't change your offset, haven't use any distance snap (to use distance snap also mean to reposition all of the note), and I don't know about the other.... You know how to update your map right? Just in case you don't know, on editor, go to File, Upload Beatmap... (Ctrl+shift+U) and update beatmap. To get a mod, you can't just wait and do nothing, you can request mod from modding queues forum, select one topic, read their rules and post your map when the queue is open. And after you receive a mod, give them a feedback, which you change and which you didn't change (because you don't have to apply every mod you get, if you think it's fine, then leave it the way it is). And one more thing, if you think a modder mod is useful for you, show your gratitude by giving them kudosu by clicking "Give Kudosu" button below their profile photo

Kudosu can be used to increase your own map or others map star priority by shooting a star. If you want to get some kudosu, then you have to mod others map.

Well, I think it's a bit too easy for normal, but still acceptable

It's a bit confusing because you haven't applied distance snap. And I think it would be better to make a full version for your normal, in other words, end it at the same time as your hard. I know it's a bit boring to make and play, but it's not the same for new players, but yeah it's up to you. Improvement needed

Same as above, it's a bit confusing, some sliders looks crooked and weird. But overall, it's pretty good for first map, considering how bad my first map is

Oh my God, my accuracy is very bad

It's not even perfect T_T I have to say, this one much more confusing... I don't know, I'm not in mood to play or something else but it's confusing to me.... For example this part 00:46:825 (8,1) - I kinda disliked those triplets as well, and I dislike the sliders shape (I love this one though 00:18:589 (1) - ) Improvement needed

Once again, good luck ^^ And maybe, if you want, I can make Insane GD.... but you have to have patience for that, I'm slow at mapping :3

I checked AiMod and corrected all the errors. (PS: Sorry about that. I forgot to check it out)
About the Hard diff: The reason some of the sliders were off is because the offset wasn't right. It sometimes automatically changes for no reason, but I fixed it.

Hey!
Just here to say it's a great map so far, but I have one gripe. This song is swung. The notes are in 1/3 and 1/6 divisions. All of your sliders and such are set to 1/2s and 1/4s which is incorrect.
Now that I've gotten that out of the way;

Onto the positives;

Aside from those, this map looks so promising. Keep this going!

[Easy]
Distance Snapping
The first thing that I have to say about this diff is the whole thing MUST be distance snapped properly, because it is an Easy. Most Easy / Normal difficulties use distance snap through the whole song. So check your AIMod to tell you which notes are out of place. For me, it is showing these:
00:52:471 (4) - 01:35:883 (7) - 03:32:000 (5) -
I would increase the distance snap by 0.1, so the 1/2 note distance snaps don't overlap each other. It looks cleaner to me this way

Blanketing
In my opinion, your map would look better if you blanketed more of your sliders. If you don't know that that means, here is a picture:

It's when you curve the slider to wrap around another note.

Overlapping

Hi there

[Easy]

I highly don't recommend using decimal CS (circle size) - in your future maps please use a whole number (3.0, 4.0, etc.)

You know you can copy+paste objects right? Things like 00:13:647 (1,2) - , 00:17:883 (1,2,3) - etc you can make one slider and copy+paste then rotate by 180 degrees to make exact sliders

01:05:177 (2,3) - This isn't something you should do in Easy (or even Normal, for that matter) This is almost impossible to read for beginners. I suggest you space them out so that they are not overlapped, and that you can read the numbers on the sliders

01:15:766 (3,4,5) - I suggest you switch the pattern so that they're not overlapping because this looks really messy (actually it might be better to simplify the rhythm)

01:38:706 - 01:41:177 - Spinner instead of break?

02:00:236 (2,3) - This stacking isn't something you should do on Easy because it's really hard to read

03:16:471 (3,1,2) - avoid using patterns like this where they overlap very strangely

03:56:000 (6,1,2,3,1) - you should probably stop overusing these kinds of sliders. They're hard and quite uninteresting to play

04:15:059 (3) - Check out this great guide on making delicious sliders

04:20:706 (2,3,4,5,1) - yeah, this overlap is ... *-* Just simplify the rhythm, don't be afraid to use minimal circles, rather than trying to use many sliders

General comments: This is quite a hard Easy. You have complicated rhythms and layout problems that make the map hard to read for beginners. Rhythms such as 01:33:412 (1,2,3) - , 02:03:060 (4,1,2,3,1) - , 02:34:825 (1,2,3,4,1) -, 02:41:177 (3,4,5,6,1) - and other similar patterns you should simplify greatly. I suggest you listen closely to the song (at 0.5x playback rate) and listen to the very strong beats and map only those

[Hard]

You know only some parts of this song are in 1/4, right? The rest is in 1/6. You're mapping the 1/4 beats in the wrong parts. Change your beat snap divisor to 1/6 and you should be able to hear all your main beats on those ticks. Message me in-game if you need help

Some parts use 1/6 beat snap divisor, and the rest use 1/4 beat snap divisor...
I think the first part, the chorus and some other parts sounds fine with 1/4 beat snap divisor...
I know the ranked TV size ver by Umi fully uses 1/3 beat snap divisor with doubled BPM
From what I learn, the fast BPM of songs which use 1/3 and 1/6 beat snap divisor would be triple the slow BPM
And usually, the fast BPM of songs which use 1/4 beat snap divisor would be double the slow BPM
For example, if you listen to "Tabi no Tochuu", Spice and Wolf opening which uses 1/3 or 1/6 beat snap divisor, you can find 2 kinds of BPM
The fast BPM would be 172
The slow BPM would be 57.33 (1/3 of the fast BPM)
But on this song, the fast BPM (170) doubled the slow BPM (85), and not tripled it
So I think using 1/4 beat snap divisor would be fine

03:56:000 (6,1,2,3,1) - you should probably stop overusing these kinds of sliders. They're hard and quite uninteresting to play

04:15:059 (3) - Check out this great guide on making delicious sliders

04:20:706 (2,3,4,5,1) - yeah, this overlap is ... *-* Just simplify the rhythm, don't be afraid to use minimal circles, rather than trying to use many sliders

General comments: This is quite a hard Easy. You have complicated rhythms and layout problems that make the map hard to read for beginners. Rhythms such as 01:33:412 (1,2,3) - , 02:03:060 (4,1,2,3,1) - , 02:34:825 (1,2,3,4,1) -, 02:41:177 (3,4,5,6,1) - and other similar patterns you should simplify greatly. I suggest you listen closely to the song (at 0.5x playback rate) and listen to the very strong beats and map only those I did ALOT of changes on the Easy diff. It's much simpler now.

[Hard]

You know only some parts of this song are in 1/4, right? The rest is in 1/6. You're mapping the 1/4 beats in the wrong parts. Change your beat snap divisor to 1/6 and you should be able to hear all your main beats on those ticks. Message me in-game if you need help I didn't change the beat snap divisor. I'll try to change it if others also have a problem with it.

Ah I love this song. Great job on your first beatmap.

General:
1. I feel like you should have A higher slider velocity. Either 1.60 or 1.70.

Not only will it move more smoothly with the song, it'll fit better since atm the sliders are really short so they end up feeling rather sparse.

Lize's hard*:
00:18:589 (1) - Put a clap here
03:36:942 - Put something here like a spinner.
04:15:765 (3)- Move this back a notch.

nanodesu's Insane*:
00:26:589 (3) and 00:27:059 (4) should not be over lapping like that. Space them out.

01:16:472 (4,5) - I feel like it would look better if these two wouldn't touch because if the little slider don't touch each other, it'd look weird if the big would, This would actually look neat.
01:24:236 (1) - Here you could reverse the slider (Ctrl+G) so you wouldn't need to change the direction as you finish with the previous hitcircles. This change would need the rest of the kiai time elements to flip horizontally. So:
01:25:648 (2) - Ctrl+G
01:27:060 (3) - Ctrl+H
01:28:472 (1) - Ctrl+G
01:29:883 (2) - ^
01:31:295 (3) - Ctrl+H
01:33:412 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - ^

Hard
00:30:589 (3) - Change the slider shape a little, so it looks good with the previous one: before ; after
00:54:942 (5) - The opposite with this one, move the slider point one grid down, like this.
01:07:295 (5,6) - Adjust this one too, until it looks like this.
01:45:060 (3,4) - Same here, it'd look better like this.
02:44:001 (5) - Move one grid to the left.
04:19:295 (1) - Not sure if this is on purpose, but all the other sliders that had that kind of length, including the next slider are a tad longer than this one. Just switch to 1/12 and make the slider a little longer so it has a 1/12 snap more.

01:10:119 (1,1,1,1,1) - Seems like too many New Combos in a short time, you might want to think this over again.

Consider putting " 境界の彼方 " as your source since you have 'kyoukai no kanata' already in the tags or just remove the tags and keep the current source
Make sure all contributors (Hanyuu_nanodesu, Mykaterasu, and CoroQuetz) to the mapset are included in the tags so that they come up when searching through beatmaps

I'm assuming you're thinking of adding custom hitsounds so i'll hold of those suggestions

[Easy*]

Since you have a decent rhythm for easy, most of the mod here will be purely personal personal aesthetics on your patterns, you're free to deny or vary the suggestions. Sliders don't have a good spread of variety throughout. I suggest you take advantage of long sliders that easy diffs usually have and experiment different shapes and patterns. The selling point of easy diffs comes from these creative shapes and patterns that the have, since they contain very few notes you have to make each one feel impactful. Good use of symmetry is also satisfying to play and fun to follow though a bit tricky to map, being aware of the X and Y axis will help very much.

00:36:236 - it might be better to have a new note here instead of a slider end because the vocals begin here

The most problematic one.It's really frustrating to play. I'm sure that the main problem is that I have no idea what's what. When i playtested, it was mostly me being confused and asking; "when did this repeating slider end?" "which direction is this supposed to go?" "what part of the music do these notes hit?" "what the ****?"

Anywayyy, i'm gonna list some stuff that i think are the lethal mistakes in terms of gameplay clarity:

03:51:058 - 04:28:823 - This section made me think that the map wasn't even fully completed despite being listed being 'done~'. Inserting a break here is very wrong since 1. It takes up ~30 seconds 2. It's on Kiai section which is supposed to be the intense points of the song. Having such a long break on an important section was heartbreaking to watch
Notes that i had no idea what part of the music they were hitting. I spent a lot of time listening to the map at 25% and 50% speed. But couldn't really justify most of where the notes are hitting. ie 00:11:176 (2) , 00:33:588 (2,3,4,5,6) , 00:29:176 (1,2) . On the last example, the slider end is not even on the 1/12 snap divisor anymore. Most patterns placed feel like they were mapped solely for the sake of making a pattern and doesn't contribute to playing along to the music at all
The repeat sliders are really hard to read. I couldn't tell a lot of these apart ( 00:24:588 (1,2) in comparison to 00:21:764 (5) ). I couldn't even see the reverse arrows with the shape of the sliders.
Spacing between beats makes timing really confusing. It is fine to turn of distance snap on higher difficulty maps but spacing in this diff has been thrown out the window. 00:21:764 (5,1) - in this example, despite the use of an NC, I still confused it for the ~2.5x distancing of previous. In other cases such as 00:39:411 (4,5) , i would accidentally stream a note when it was(?) supposed to be single tapped.
Constant switching between 1/4 and and 1/3 makes it impossible for me to decide how fast I should be pressing/streaming. ie 00:35:705 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5)
Smaller less serious stuff:
Combos varies often throughout the diff from 3 to 15. A general rule of thumb is to put NC around each or every other downbeat or big white tick.
01:14:000 (6) - this may count as a burai slider and may be unrankable

At any rate, this has a lot of unrankable stuff that are kinda difficult for me to describe in detail.

I'll end my mod here. Mapset is so huge... like ~20 min of total play time, ~15+ mins of drain

Anywayyy, i'm gonna list some stuff that i think are the lethal mistakes in terms of gameplay clarity:

03:51:058 - 04:28:823 - This section made me think that the map wasn't even fully completed despite being listed being 'done~'. Inserting a break here is very wrong since 1. It takes up ~30 seconds 2. It's on Kiai section which is supposed to be the intense points of the song. Having such a long break on an important section was heartbreaking to watch.
You're right. It wasn't done. I'd never leave it like that. I didn't say it was done either.

Notes that i had no idea what part of the music they were hitting. I spent a lot of time listening to the map at 25% and 50% speed. But couldn't really justify most of where the notes are hitting. ie 00:11:176 (2) ,
It was understandable, thinking about this one. It's inside the time signiture, but I guess it can't be justified. Fix!

Glitchy man has glitchy voice that is not in swing time, but in 1/4 beat snap. Justification complete.

Your extensive listening forgot the swung drum part that is played here?

On the last example, the slider end is not even on the 1/12 snap divisor anymore.
I'll take the fall here, as I messed around in 1/8 before making this part ages ago, and I didn't change it to 1/12. Timing error. Fixed.

Most patterns placed feel like they were mapped solely for the sake of making a pattern and doesn't contribute to playing along to the music at all.
The patterns have more relevance than you think. There are patterns that refer to the video and there are patterns that refer to the lyrics. I will however admit that not all of them fit into these categories (That means maybe one or two fit with the theme. I'm lazy).

The repeat sliders are really hard to read. I couldn't tell a lot of these apart ( 00:24:588 (1,2) in comparison to 00:21:764 (5) ). I couldn't even see the reverse arrows with the shape of the sliders.
If it was easy to read, it wouldn't be "Another*". I'm sure it's very readable; but I'll agree that it's not clean. I don't want it to be clean though, to reflect on the nature and themes of the anime.

Spacing between beats makes timing really confusing. It is fine to turn of distance snap on higher difficulty maps but spacing in this diff has been thrown out the window. 00:21:764 (5,1) - in this example, despite the use of an NC, I still confused it for the ~2.5x distancing of previous. In other cases such as 00:39:411 (4,5) , i would accidentally stream a note when it was(?) supposed to be single tapped.
I grant you the knowledge that yes, these are ever-so-slightly misleading but this is to add difficulty. So I'm not changing these examples; I strongly believe they're fine how they are.
On a sidenote I'd like to say that snap was actually used almost all the time (3 exceptions) unless there were rotating patterns. If it's a swing to a downbeat, the snap is 1.0 or 1.5 and anything else is 2x.

Constant switching between 1/4 and and 1/3 makes it impossible for me to decide how fast I should be pressing/streaming. ie 00:35:705 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5)
So, The first bit in 1/4 comes after glitchy guy's vocals. You're still in 1/4 mode in your mind. No problems there. Going into swing after 00:36:235 - is actually really clean. I have 3 sliders (which are very forgiving on matters like this) and they are all swung. Then the rest of the swung section begins. All in all I'm not changing this either. I think I've given enough leniency.

Smaller less serious stuff:
Combos varies often throughout the diff from 3 to 15. A general rule of thumb is to put NC around each or every other downbeat or big white tick.
Combos were used to accentuate melodic structure and repetition, alongside new patterns. I've looked over them all and I think they are justifiable.

01:14:000 (6) - this may count as a burai slider and may be unrankable
Going from 1.7x to 2.0x slider speed isn't exactly super crazy. And most of the map is at a 2x distance snap anyway, the player is already used to this movement speed when you think about it (1.7 x 2). I still fixed that thing at the top to be extra sure.

At any rate, this has a lot of unrankable stuff that are kinda difficult for me to describe in detail.

I'll end my mod here. Mapset is so huge... like ~20 min of total play time, ~15+ mins of drain

As a note for everyone else that wants to mod this, I recalculated slider lengths after adapting to this mod, and it screwed up a lot. but it had to be done. I've attempted to fix everything that I saw was off. In future mods, please bring any odd 1/12-ish time rhythms to my attention. Thanks.

Consider putting " 境界の彼方 " as your source since you have 'kyoukai no kanata' already in the tags or just remove the tags and keep the current source Fixed!

Easy*

Since you have a decent rhythm for easy, most of the mod here will be purely personal personal aesthetics on your patterns, you're free to deny or vary the suggestions. Sliders don't have a good spread of variety throughout. I suggest you take advantage of long sliders that easy diffs usually have and experiment different shapes and patterns. The selling point of easy diffs comes from these creative shapes and patterns that the have, since they contain very few notes you have to make each one feel impactful. Good use of symmetry is also satisfying to play and fun to follow though a bit tricky to map, being aware of the X and Y axis will help very much.I understand but there are other maps that's looks just like mine and their ranked so I don't think I'm going to change it.
