Does PP calculation increase in Decimals too?

Well the main reason i think this is because sometimes i play mania with my friends in multiplayer. and they play songs that dont give pp alot of the times. and theyre very easy difficulties. such as normal, hard and insane (convert wise) and was wondering for a while now. Does PP calculate in Decimal places and add up to a single whole number?
Sorry if i posted this in the wrong place on the forums but i would apriciate it if someone or a developer could tell me how this works. if thats ok.

This guide gives an example on how PP is calculated. It only counts up to a certain amount of your best plays, not all of them. Also. It does calculate in decimals, but after awhile, those easier songs will be worth 0% in weight (see wiki) and give you 0 pp.

Also this is probably the worst place you could have posted this actually.
