So why can't we request songs to be made into beatmaps?

It would seem to be an awesome way to get average-high quality beatmaps for songs players want to play
but can't make themselves :idea: . It seems silly not to do something like this, especially when people already share their beatmaps in the first place

You can, but people don't tend to map requests much.

Yes, but it has died by now, so no luck.

Because the majority Beat Mappers are lazy, and they are tired of requests .

It's better if you just do it yourself .

most mappers expect you to know in advance there is a button called the "edit" button right below the play button in the main menu

Mostly this. Plus the one I added in blue text.

Making one beatmap can take quite a long time. I spent an array of 1 week ~ 1 month to fully finish just 1 beatmap. Not to mention the modding/ranking process.

You probably don't know, each player can only upload 3 of their beatmaps to pending. Consider they're not supporters.
So... who gonna waste the precious space to the beatmap that's not the songs of their interest?

The reason you can't request songs to be made into beatmaps is because people don't really take those requests, and it'd be kind of pointless to have a thread full of empty dreams. It's sort of like why you can't make a thread saying "mod my beatmap". But rather, if someone is taking requests for songs, feel free to do that. Or send it to friends. Sometimes, people like it and decide to take it. But pretty much the reason is that it's pointless to have requests for a game where all users have the ability to make things happen.

As if these illiterate and retarded kids read stuff like that. It needs to be a popup that forces you to read it before they even notice it, and even that doesn't guarantee that they understand it.

Yeah, majority of my generation are stuffed.
Kids getting pregnant at the age of 12. Doing drugs at the age of 9?
