Nothing Ever Happens
The first game failed to hook me; I need to try it out again
it's been like a decade by this point i swear
same, i just felt it didn't really do anything particularly outstanding. maybe i went into the game with insanely high expectations given the praise it was getting (and still gets) at all times (both from irl people and internet people). but yeah, i had more fun playing other metroidvanias like the first ender lilies game, bloodstained rotn and ori and the blind forest (just to name a few lol)Ymir wrote:

hopefully silksong will improve on everything they did in the first game. though i'd like them announcing a release date first

I still couldn't beat some of the bosses in the first game. I might go back and replay that from 0 tbh.

I liked hollow knight a lot but it's been so long since they initially revealed silksong that I don't even have any hype left for it anymore. I'll probably still play it at some point tho.

so far the game is pretty solid, as good as original hk, love the new pogo

Im finishing hk so i can play silksong. I know i don't really have to but like i feel like thats what i should be doing

it's 19.50€ in europe, some countries have it cheaper because regional pricing

played the game got the true ending and stuff, im not sure if ill 100% it but its been great
game's better, much better than the first. can't pinpoint exactly what they did that made it more enjoyable (giving you the dash early, maybe?) but i'm having much more fun with this one. easily GOTY contender
