There are lots of Unsnapped Objects in Hard & Insane, please check AiMod and fix them! 01:30:398 - In Insane, there is a red timing point here without a reason. Do not use pure white combo color (255,255,255); it makes Kiai blinding and hurts the eyes. Change it to a bright gray instead. The dark gray combo color is missing in the Insane difficulty. The hitsound-file "normal-hitclap2" is unused and must be removed. "soft-sliderslide3" also seems to be unused. I'm not 100% sure since I didn't check all objects in Lanturns diff if one slider uses soft-sliderslide3, but if that's the case, please remove the file and change the sampleset of the slider via the Sampleset/Addition Tool. "normal-slidertick3" is way too loud for a slidertick, or too similar to a regular hitsound addition. I turned it's volume down a bit, please use this one: http://puu.sh/cRyZp/5aa4378a3a.wav

[Easy]

  1. 00:05:773 (2,1) - The Spacing between these is a bit too high.

  3. 00:14:483 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - 3/2-gaps are not recommended for Easy, since they break the white/red-polarity and are difficult to read due to that. For songs with complex rhythms, like this one, they are acceptable when a slider follows afterwards, since it won't cause a miss when the newbies press the key a bit earlier / later on the slider.   12. The whole kiai section needs the most work rhythm-wise. In the whole difficulty, you are following mainly vocals, which is causing all those complex rhythms. Before the chorus, there wasn't really a better possibility, since the emphasized instruments were also playing mainly on red ticks, so it was fine to follow the vocals. But in the kiai, the drums and other instruments are often quite regular, so you need to make the rhythm as simple as possible by following these. I'd recommend you to remap the kiai section and try to keep the rythm simple by following other instruments / drums. Ofc you can still map on some red ticks to make it fit the rest of the map, but all those 1/2-sliders need to go imo.
  13. Your NCing needs work.
    1. 00:00:548 to 00:12:935 - NCing every big white tick here is inconsistent with the rest of the map and doesn't seem necessary to me - Just NC every second big white tick.
    2. 00:12:935 - NC because this measure is a transition to the following section

    4. 00:46:031 - I wouldn't put NC here, because this object seems to belong to the previous combo from the vocals and instrumentation. 00:47:193 - NC here instead.
    5. 00:56:096 and 01:23:967 and 01:27:451 - I don't know how you'll handle these, since I told you to remap the chorus before, but I'd not include any additional NCs in the chorus since I can't really see the reason.
  14. The hitsounding needs a lot of work too. Many loud sounds in the music don't get enough emphasis due to a missing hitsound addition.
    1. 00:04:999 - Add Normal Sampleset here or something else to fit this very emphasized sound.
    2. 00:11:193 and 00:11:580 - These cymbals need to be emphasized in some way by using hitsounding. Finishes would work.
    3. 00:12:160 and 00:12:548 - I'd use Normal Sampleset for those to emphasize the bass or whatever that dominant instrument is.
    4. 00:20:289 - Normal sampleset here?
    5. 00:20:677 to 00:24:935 - Use Normal Sampleset for every big white line + the red ticks that you mapped, it sounds better.

  9. The difficulty spread is bothering me in this mapset. The gaps between Normal / Hard as well as Hard / Insane seem really big. Hard is using some bigger jumps that need to be reduced imo in order to fit with lower difficulties:

    3. 00:14:483 (1,2) and 00:16:031 (1,2) -

  2. 00:11:967 (3,1) - Swap NCs for the same reason as above.
  3. 00:54:548 (6,7,1,2,3,4,5) - Those triplets play and sound weird to me. I'd say the 1/4-rhythm is not really intuitive here, so I'd remove the notes on the blue ticks. If you want to keep them, make the placement for smooth for better flow and aesthetics (by which I mean, don't use such a sharp angle for the triplets).   4. 01:10:999 (1) - Remove this NC to avoid messing up the HP-drain here.
  5. I already mentioned in my mod on Lanturn's diff that the gap between Hard and Insane is quite big. Hard doesn't have many jumps (and it should even have less when he applied my mod, because some were too big) but the Insane is full of them. There is no easy way to fix this. One possibility would be to map a difficulty in between Hard and Insane. Another one would be to tone Insane's jumps down, but that will be pretty difficult to do since the whole map is really jumpy. I'd recommend you to wait with this and first of all fix the rest of the mod. After that, contact me ingame and I'll talk with other BATs about their opinion on the difficulty spread and what could be a good solution.
I like this mapset, but it definitely shouldn't have been bubbled yet. Sorry CDFA :( Please check the mod carefully and give a reason when you deny something. I'm sure we can get this done :)

Diff has been reduced down to 3.07 now with most jumps gone. Hopefully enough to keep balance. This is a huge difficulty decrease as it used to be 3.08!

All of them are optional for your mappping stype, except the Normal is strongly suggested

For the hitsounds, I'd prefer more claps to be used especially at KIAI time to aid players when playing

Just my opinion, current "normal-hitnormal" is not suitable to be used as "clap" , mostly are used for constant beat / bass cover (drum / guitar)

Easy:
01:24:160 (3,4,5,6) - Prefer this to be slider (not strongly recommend tho) as mentioned by Desperate-Kun abt 00:49:902 (3,4) -

Normal:
01:10:031 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2) - Unconsistency DS in this part, maybe try to unite them to 0.9x

  1. Remember that some of my suggestions reduce the jumps, in order to help the difficulty spread, which is absolutely necessary. I've asked several QATs and BATs for their opinion.
  2. 00:00:547 (1,2) - The flow between these might be a bit too sharp. Also, I'd recommend you to add a circle at 00:01:128 like Rakuen already mentioned. Something like this might work: http://puu.sh/dHAwN/9824c76cc1.jpg
  3. 00:01:322 (4,5,6,1) - This seems a bit too jumpy imo. The music is quite calm, the only strong note is 00:02:096 - So I think it would be better to use 1.3x spacing for this pattern except the jump that leads to 00:02:096
  4. 00:14:483 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - This section also seems too jumpy / dense. It's mostly calm piano notes, so it would be logical to have less jumps and density than in the section before, for example. Also, 00:25:322 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) seems to be the exact same music, so it makes no sense to map them completely different. I'd recommend you to recreate something like you did in the second section, because it fits the atmosphere very well. Otherwise, please reduce these jumps 00:14:483 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7)

I tried to give another reason except the spread for some suggestions so they are more reasonable, but it wasn't always possible.

Yep, it's not the final recheck, since I need to leave now for christmas stuff and wasn't able to mod the hitsounding yet... This time I won't forget about it though.

Consider spicing the hitsoounds on the kiai parts beside using all the clap and finish every 2 stanza, Try to make a difference between the one in the verse and chorus :< Using some soft-whistle or claps patterns should work nice, also Lanturn's table tennis thingy sounds nice too imo, consider using that :3

  2. the 1 ms before the soft-hitclap doesn't really do much, but well it's a wave so it's your choice if you want to cut out the barely anything from it or not
  3. soft-hitfinish3 thing looks like it's cut off in the end i'd recommend having it fade out
  4. soft-hitwhistle is the same with fade out thing except that this has like yea 1 second of silence which boosts filesize to 216 kb lel
  5. Sony Music Records tag no? The rest of these people is tagged in there, you could also add the kanji for them because artist and title use Kanji things but tags don't so why

  1. normal-slidertick3 is a fucking pingpong ball hitting a table i'm so done already idk what do to hitsonds/color]
  2. the 1 ms before the soft-hitclap doesn't really do much, but well it's a wave so it's your choice if you want to cut out the barely anything from it or not

  4. soft-hitwhistle is the same with fade out thing except that this has like yea 1 second of silence which boosts filesize to 216 kb lel
