I don't think no one is claiming it's a narrative masterpiece, I think everyone knows what they're in for.
I don't think the games are overrated. They're decent little VNs that are somewhat popular to be fair.
Nekopara, being a popular series, can seem overrated at times, but overall... I don't think so.

Nah. But I don't think that the plot is the main focus, but something not normally included in the Steam release by default. I'll leave it at that.
The word 'overrated' is overused.
