[osu!stable] Osu keeps freezing when I alt+tab‬ · forum‬

I have "minimize on alt+tab" off and my game was fine initially, but recently it started freezing when I did it. The rest of the game is fine, like I can escape to go the home screen, I can type, and I can play a song, but the screen is still frozen. And when I want to fix it, I have to completely close the game, which is annoying, since it takes forever to reopen. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Which version of osu! are you using?

Make sure your GPU drivers are up to date. This can fix rendering-related issues a lot of the time.

If you are on stable and drivers are current, try changing the "confine cursor" setting.

If you are using lazer, make sure you are NOT using the Vulkan renderer. It is very unstable and has been known to freeze for many users.

If you still have the issue, please upload your logs. On stable you can find them as "runtime.log" in the osu! directory, on lazer you can export them from within maintenance settings.
