how do i stop getting worse despite playing for like 2 or 3 hours daily

You can try by fixing your sleep schedule, trust me, it helps

This is also a note to myself because I have the same issue with my sleep schedule lol

its already like atleast 8 hours a night

also i just set a new pb on a song so i dont even have a single fucking idea whats going on anymore. im happy but what the fuck

Hmm so maybe you should take breaks if you keep getting worse, you should also remember not every session is gonna be goated, it's normal

i know well that not every session is gonna be good. also fuckiiiiiiinnnnnnnnggggggg hell i nearly can S rank a 5.3 star i really wanna S rank but the skill just aint and im not getting the good score. why did peppy buff mind block by making it like 10x faster to get. before i can play a chart like 50 attempts and theres no mind block but now im on my 10th and im playing so shit

Let alone 50 attempts, even 10 retries on a map is excessive. That's just reinforcing all the mistakes you make on that map, unless you're actively learning & memorizing the map and not just spamming retry. If its spamming retry, then at that point you're just gambling on whether you're lucky enough to get an S rank. You get a nice score at the end of it, but it did nothing to help you 'git gud'.

Somewhere between 2-4 retries tends to be solid. Enough to learn the map, improve on it, get a solid score, and not repeat mistakes and reinforce bad habits.

10+ retries on a map you're struggling to S rank is alot worse than 10+ retries on a map you can get 98%+ on, for the simple fact that you make less mistakes when your acc is 98%+.

i got a 94.8 something and a 94.94 or smth like that tho :(

ok ill come back like a week later and regrind it for S rank since i think getting 94.7 and 94.9 is good sign. i think im starting to pass the plateau im at, so pray i pass it soon and start improving again

yeah its good advice and i do follow it. while for a bit of time i wasnt exactly following the variety part ive always (literally always) remained faithful to S ranking songs rather than A ranking like others. im doing the variety part now tho, im playing every _icerain 6k map pack chart thats atleast 8 in difficulty (except long ass charts because stamina isnt really gonna help me). ive kinda given up at around 12 difficulty and just playing 12s and 14s depending on how in feeling. i will try to slowly get 12s and 13s done tho and focus on those when im just performing bad and want an easier session
