For a while I've had the money to purchase a mechanical keyboard, but have no personal experience in using them. Since osu! players are more experienced than I, which would you recommend? Price isn't an issue, but I'd prefer not to spend over $200

I've already decided I'm getting red switches because blue are far too loud..

I play osu!, league of legends and spend a lot of time on Skype.

If any other suggestions, feel free to post below.

Any regular keyboard that supports multiple presses is good. A mechanical keyboard is recommended since the sound it makes is very sexy.
Razer BlackWidow is the best keyboard for your $200 dollar budget (it's 99.99). But don't buy anything else from razer other than keyboards and mice.

Their build quality compared to other similarly priced (or even cheaper) mechanical keyboards is fairly poor across the board. Also their move to their "own" "Razer Mechanical Switches" (rebranded blues/browns with slight changes to travel distance) is questionable at best (chinese manufacturer not really known for quality, Kailh).

I'd suggest getting something along the lines of CM Storm, Ducky, Qpad, Steelseries, Filco.

For a $200 budget you could get something really high end such as Filco Majestouch 2, or Ducky Shine 2. You can also save some money by getting a CM Storm (some newer models are however made by the same OEM as the razer keyboards, iOne, also not really known for quality), Qpad (I own a MK-50 with reds and it has lasted me 3 years of semi-intensive osu! and other gaming doodads) or a Steelseries keyboard (6Gv2 was one of the first "mainstream" gaming oriented keyboards and it's still fairly solidly built for its price).

Corsair K65. Save yourself some moneys and spend it on other peripherals.

Tenkeyless Filco Majestouch 2 Ninja, didn't get my hands in a TKL version because no stock :( If you can't afford such keyboard probably you should look at Cooler Master or Corsair keyboards which are cheaper IIRC.

$200 seems like a rather high budget for a keyboard. If you're really setting your budget that high, you might as well pick up one of the higher-end ones. Keyboards that come to mind are the Ducky Shine 3, the Filco Majestouch 2, Corsair K95, the upcoming Corsair RGB, and maybe the CM Storm QuickFire Rapid-i. You could even start looking into keyboards with the higher-end Topre switches (like the upcoming CM Storm Novatouch TKL), but very few have used them in osu!, so I don't really know how they play like.
If you're willing to save money, you can save more money by omitting all of the extra features (like lights and macro keys). You might also be able to save a bit more and get extra desk space by picking up a tenkeyless keyboard. CM Storm's QuickFire line comes to mind. In the end, it's really your choice what to go with.

Also, regarding the poll: The Razer BlackWidow Stealth comes with MX Brown switches (or the similar Razer Orange switches in the 2014 edition), not MX Reds.

$200 is pretty high for a keyboard. Anyway, chosing a keyboard is actually your own preference. I went for blue switches (Razer blackwidow) because I have to do a lot of typing for school projects.
If you play a lot of osu and you want to really get better at it. I really recommend CM Storm Quickfire TK (Reds) then. They're simply the best for osu (and other games aswell). I've seen hundreds of reviews where people say that this keyboards is the best keyboard for gaming.
However, Razer Blackwidow 2014 edition seems to be really good too (green switches and orange switches), green switches are still pretty loud and sound like a mouse click, orange switches are silent keys but they still have that clicky sound that blue switches make (some love it, some hate it)

Opinion disregarded.

Razer switches, a copy of cherry mx blues (green) and browns (orange). They've received a bad reputation before the keyboard was even released because of this new switch (which was confirmed to be manufactured by kailh) but in all honesty I've used green razer switches on my friends keyboard and they're just fine, its just a turn off for people that say that this switch is made in china (Just like everything else in this world e.g. a Quickfire TK)

Go for a ducky zero or quickfire tk if you want reds. However the quickfire may not be an option, because they're nowhere in the UK, and other parts of europe.

Corsair vengeance k70 is my KB.
It works very well for osu, cherry MX red switches, looks great, very VERY durable and high quality, decent price.

This is going to sound like a dumb question but what is a 'switch' and why is it important?
Viertel_old
Or you can use a stock Keyboard that's basically the same Thing. It allows You to hit Keys, and a Mechanical Keyboard won't help You do that.

Different response when typing. Do you want it to require more force to activate the key? Cherry MX Black/Brown. Do you want it to be easy to press? Cherry MX Red. Do you want the keyboard to tell you you've activated the key without visuals? Cherry MX Blues.

Most people go for Red/Black switches because Blues are notoriously 'loud' for their confirmation of activation 'click', where it tells you that you've activated the key without hitting the key all the way down. Reds or blacks don't do this so you rely on visual confirmation which is shown on the screen.

I have a Ducky Zero with black switches, and I love it. In my opinion black and red are the best for osu! and general gaming, because you don't have to lift up far to press again. It makes streaming and single tapping a lot easier for me.

For a cheap mechanical keyboard look into the cm storm quickfire rapid. It doesn't have a numpad but you don't need one.

can a red switch keyboard be recommened for me too~?
CaffeLatte_old
My personal favorite is Xenics Tesoro M7 (Mechanical), but I read some good reviews for CM Storm and Vengeance. Whichever you choose, my recommendation for you is to not go for Razer keyboards.
