how to get into 7k as 6k player

i have decided that to improve at 6k i need to play 7k (because 7k acutally has charts available) except THUMBS FEEL SO WEIRD MAN HOW DO YALL PLAY THIS STUFF

anyways i wanna learn how to get into 7k because it just feels very weird and uncanny
im gonna try make my skin have the o2jam color thing and see if that helps

Here's some alot of o2jam skins

If you type on a keyboard or play games with WASD + Spacebar, then you're already use your thumb alot to press spacebar.

Learning 7k aint complicated. Start with 1.5*, play 15-45min daily and work up from there. Thats what I did with 10k. Whether you start at 1.5* or higher just depends on your thumb.

You'll probably find some pattern with the thumb awkward, vomit-inducing, or mind-bendingly difficult. Thats just yo brain learning 7k. Relish in the feeling, this is the stage you'll improve the quickest in 7k.

Also...LOWER THE SCROLLSPEED, don't play with your 4k/6k scrollspeed. Its 7k, you need the extra time to read the awkward patterns (likely involving the thumb)

already modified my skin to have o2jam colors so i dont need o2jam skin, uuhhhhhh ngl i hate this lol but ill try my best to push through the initial stages. ill see if i can get to 2 star quick because 6k muscle memory, even if its 3 star

edit: nvm less scrollspeed helps
edit 2: im gonna do 2 star songs because i can A rank them (i can S rank 3.5s in 6k dont worry my acc will be decent later)
