I feel that the Combo Win Condition should have a little difference in it.

In the current rule, it's the largest current combo that wins. This feels more of a luck-based mode in a way, because you could get a near full combo to the end, and then lose to players of lesser skill because they happened to get some good enough small combos.

---------------

I want to revise this.

I feel that it should award players points based on the amount of players they are above while getting a hit.

If a player hits a note and are first out of four players, they get 3 points. The player with less combo in 2nd gets 2 points, and the player in 3rd with lesser combo gets 1. Last will get zero.
If there's a tie in combo, they both get the same amount of points. So with 6 players, 1st gets 5, a tie for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th all gets 2, and a tie for 5th and 6th gets 0, because 5th and 6th are equal to one another and are technically not defeating anyone.

After the map, the player with the highest score in this sense wins.

this will be really hard to implement because of the way multiplayer registers peoples scores. i don't think it's completely precise I mean even if I'm holding a fc with someone else but their acc is much higher and therefore their score is -always- going to be higher, which would be evident if we were playing next to eachother, we will stilll see eachother flash by one another constantly on the left because of the way it updates the 'scoreboard' used in multiplayer. this is even evident during breaks when some people are still seen as increasing in score while you're already done.

I'd be curious how data would have to be handled for this to work to absolute precision. Otherwise it might be unfair. Currently the only time anything is scored or factored in for calculating the winner happens once everyone has finished playing.

Maybe I'm wrong and the server knows with absolute certainty what everyones combo/score is at any instant, but I think there's a fair concern to be given to latency which can't be overlooked. Player A experiences some lag and on the scoreboard his combo is frozen at 266 for 10+ seconds [this happens to at least one person every other multi], how will this be handled? Chances are he combo broke 1 second into his lag, but people below 266 will not be receiving any benefit by this happening while he is lagging.

this is my only concern, that aside this sounds wonderful, especially because Score win condition is used 95% of the time, accuracy 4.9% of the time, and combo about 0.1% of the time :)
