Yes, you can send your beatmaps to your friend. Open your osu directory and then the songs folder. Copy all the files and put them in a zip file. Send it to your friend and tell him/her to paste all the maps into his/her osu songs folder.

When I tried zipping the copy of the song folder it says I have too many maps that have characters that can't be compressed (example: ☆) would zipping it through winrar be fine? I made one but it lost around 2 GB of the 38GB from the original file I just want to be sure. Also would uploading the folder through google drive be alright for my friend to download it through?

Zipping it through WinRAR is fine. Google drive or really anywhere that allows you to upload a file as large as the zip file will be fine. Your friend will need to unzip the downloaded file into their Songs folder, ensuring that all beatmap folders are directly placed in the `Songs` folder. After that, they can launch stable and the game should process any added beatmaps when entering song select. If not, they can press F5 in song select to do a full re-process of their beatmaps.

if it's big enough, remember to check if the cloud you're going to host the file have some "gb" limits, because most of cloud have free plans of 16GB or so
