Ranked map score didnt submit despite me being online

Problem details:
I was playing on lazer and a ranked map i set a score on didnt submit despite me being online, i played another map after and that one submitted perfectly fine but this one didnt

Score is not in your recents, so that could point towards it not submitting.

Please export and attach game logs, there's a button to do it in settings. Also the raw .osr could be helpful. I was hoping that website you linked would have an option to download it but I can only download the video apparently.

i couldnt manage to link them directly so i uploaded both the replay file and the logs to a folder on my google drive

It appears that this may a problem with this particular difficulty, which is beatmapsets/785703#osu/1649525.

When you select the difficulty in question, is there a light green "ranked" badge in the wedge on the top left of the screen? It might help to compare it with the other difficulties to spot what I mean. I am guessing it will not be there.

Not sure how you might have gotten into this state, however. Did you import that map from stable? Or import that before May 2023? Date is significant because of comments/2726585

i installed lazer a week or so after the new performance point system video came out so it was a recent install but yes all maps were imported over from stable when i went throught the setup

the ranked badge is there and the replay shows its for that map
Edit: in the locals scores screen shot you can also see that the second score on the local pages is my current top play on the map that shows also on the global leaderboards

Well I'm completely stumped then, because the logs don't even show network failures. As in, normally this sort of thing is triggered by transient network failure and there is a connectivity error in logs, but this time the play doesn't look to even have attempted to submit. Which would be explained if it wasn't showing as ranked but it is...?

Can you upload your client.realm file for inspection? It's in the game folder, there's a button to open that folder in settings.

Well the database looks in order.

Looking at the logs again, it seems that you redownloaded the set after setting this score, which probably inadvertently fixed the issue and is why everything looks to be correct now. This probably was due to the difficulty not being ranked, but there is likely no way we can verify this now.

My proof of the above is the aforementioned log:

It looks like you were very unfortunate and happened to set a score on a map that had things done on it manually that should not have been done. We don't do these kinds of changes anymore, which is probably little solace in your situation. Sorry for the lost pp, but for all intents and purposes this should not happen again.

i redownloaded the map to double check it was the ranked diff which it was, maybe it got bugged during the import from stable? it also happened again the same session i played on a map but that score wasnt important to me so i didnt care for it much, i dont know if you can see in the realm or log but i played on the map chronistasis https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/577414#osu/1222063

is there a way to check if my maps havent been migrated properly/corrupted on migration to avoid this happening again in the future? its my guess that this has caused it as i mentioned above my local scores on legend of millenium show my previous top score so before import it was the correct ranked difficulty. its unfortunate that it happened on the first score but theres nothing that can be done which is understandable but id like to avoid it if possible, would be very tragic to loose another top play

There's no super easy way. One way that kinda works is if you type status=none in song select it'll show you stuff that doesn't have any online status, and that's where these migration corruptions would land. Looking over your client.realm there is a significant number of these. Re-downloading these might turn out to be a bit of a pain, though, unfortunate as it is.

Yeah that one looks to be marked unranked in your db, which would pretty much confirm that this is what happened here.

so it seems i just got unfortunate with the migration of my maps from stable to lazer, at least i know now to look out for that going forward, thank you for looking into this for me i greatly appreicate it
