Problem details: I couldn't open my osu! for some reason, so i tried to delete it and reinstall and now it shows this : "An error occurred! Please check your internet connection."

So, i did an re-search and i found this

"Your IP was probably blocked for some reason.

Depending on your ISP, your IP address might change if you turn your router off for a few hours and then turn it on again. If you get a new IP after doing this, you should be able to connect again.

If that doesn't make your IP change, please contact your ISP and they will likely help you change it."

but for some reason i can still play osu!lazer

is there any possibility for another solution?

Are you still having this issue? And if so can we get a new update.log?

Are you using a proxy network or a VPN?

Can you try redownloading the osu!install.exe from the website (home/download) and replace the current osu!.exe with that and try running it again?

yes, i tried, it does the same error

after a day: I tried VPN, same issue, so my IP is not blocked.

So i tried also:

Checking my firewall and made sure nothing is being blocked.

restarting my computer, network adapter, router, modem.

releasing and renewing my ipconfig.

flushing my DNS.

still didn't help.

PROBLEM SOLVED

My Solution was: Go to -> Windows Settings --> Windows Update --> Advanced Options --> Optional Updates and update them all

So basically there was an update called : "2024-11 Cumulative Update Preview .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 (KB5048163)"

after restarting my PC it just downloaded osu!
