Problem Details:
simply place a slider in the editor and see how the grid becomes brighter when on the slider (time-wise).

Video or screenshot showing the problem:
easy to reproduce, go into editor and place a slider.

osu! version: 20140410.5 (latest)

not sure if someone posted this before though, I didn't see a corresponding thread so far.
I don't know either if it's only me

As far as my eyesight tells me, it's not just the grid. It seems that there was some sort of brightness increase on your whole screen since I saw that everything else was actually brighter in the second picture. It's very subtle, but you might notice if you look.

Not sure if this is a problem with your graphics driver or a problem with osu.

actually the grid on the editor will contrast out whenever there's an SB element with blend..
i guess editor grid were drawn after sliderb-spec.png additive and storyboard elements additive,
