Had to read that in 10th grade and it really is one of the best dystopian novels out there. Too bad I don't like that genre too much,

I'm a Chinese and my favorite book is The Romance(Romance as in fantasy, not love) of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guan Zhong. Consider it like an antique, Chinese equivalent for the Game of Thrones with better schemes and characters. I suggest it to everyone, regardless of nationality.

Read the Game of Thrones, and after that the Lord of the Rings.

1984>Brave New World.

Percy Jackson has great storytelling, but it has shallow plots without intelligent schemes or drama that a great fantasy should pack.

Eragon is too bland.

A lot of people suggested me teen books like Percy Jackson and Eragon, but I hate, hate teen genres in general. There is something so despicable about them I can hardly explain it.

Unbearable Lightness of Being is probably my favourite book right now.

Agreed on the first part.
One of my fav quotes actually came from that book!

"Love is the longing for the half of ourselves we have lost."
