Problem details:
• About 3 months ago this started, it was never like this b4 and ive played for years. Every time i Alt-Tab out of osu i drop 200+ Frames (from 900 to 700) but visually the game begins to stutter as if i was running at 20 fps with frequent freezes. On occasion for no reason at all, as soon as i launch the game sometimes the game will already start like this. Another strange detail, though im not sure if it will help or not. normally when I play Osu i stream it, and when i alt tab, very rarely the performance drop will happen but only in OBS's game capture i'll be able to see that osu's hud is flickering. like the maps, start button, mods all that is flickering but only through OBS on my main monitor i cannot see this. usually when this happens the game will crash shortly afterwards

Solutions I've Tried:
• Made sure discord overlay is off
• Repaired osu
• Uninstalled the whole game keeping only my skins, maps, & scores
• Tried compatibility mode this fixed the flickering crash but made the choppy fps drop even more aggressive so i turned it off again

Additional Info:
• Using Gaomon MX10 Tablet with Opentablet Drivers V0.6.4.0
• Frame Limiter: Optimal
• Fullscreen
• Minimize on Alt tab: ON (I've also tried it off)

PC Specs:
• CPU: Ryzen 9 3950X 16 Core 3.5 GHz
• GPU: Radeon 5700 XT 8GB Vram
• RAM: 64GB (32GBx2)
• Motherboard: ASUS AMD ROG STRIX X570-E
• Average temp about 60 Celsius

osu! version: Stable 20241001

Are all your drivers and OS updates up-to-date?

Have you checked the performance troubleshooting wiki to see if it helps at all?

Make sure that you have nothing but osu! open and running.

Yup i noticed my audio, and chipset drivers were out of date after reading ur message updated osu, ive checked and tried everything i could in performance troubleshooting, and yeah try to keep as little as possible open while playing osu. but unfourtunately it still runs horrible. the menu is even choppier then i remember (havent played in a while cuz of this issue) and the alt tab lowering preformance still kills it
