I recently switches from Lazer to Stable, and noticed Stable has the beatmap backgrounds front and center. I have no private place to play sadly. I’ve tried fully dimming and disabling thumbnails, but it still shows the backgrounds clearly when loading the song and during intermissions. This wasn’t a big problem on Lazer as they were fairly blurred to the point where it was hard to see the background.

Running latest Linux Mint Cinnamon

osu! version: Stable 20241001 (latest)

Through wine. Installed the exe from the website, and ran commands from a tutorial.

If it's stable, you can just delete the background picture in the map's folder I guess?
