Not best score yet gain pp

I just almost fc a song 2h ago, but that is not my best score so i didnt notice my rank increased at the moment i finished the play. But just now i notice that i get a 309pp from that song, which suppose to be 297pp before, why am i getting my pp of that map updated when it is not my highest score on the diff?

That is because from now on, all the plays you submitted, doesn't matter whether it is the highest score or not will still be submitted. It means that the highest pp play of the map counts.

Basically you can't lose pp anymore (except from reworks ofc)

They changed it to function like the first reply, because soon they are removing combo-scaling, so in order to prevent old, higher pp plays from being deleted by getting a higher score, they did this
