I really don't want to start fighting with people on my first post... but the amount of loli shit on here is insane. I love this game, i really do, but I'm really considering quitting and going back to sekai or something because of how often I have to just ignore GROSS loli pictures/songs/etc. Is the loli stuff just super normal here? I need to know because I don't want to be a part of that at all.

sadly its a big problem in osu due to poor moderation of content like that and the willingness of certain people in either the anime community at large or osu community (cant tell which its most prevalent in) to spread it

the game itself is fun tho if u can try to avoid it (i like clicking the circles to the beat)

No, it absolutely isn't! It's actually forbidden by the rules:

  1. sexual content involving or targeted at minors
The Global Moderation Team (and many community members) do not accept lolicon. If you see a map about to be ranked which you believe has an unacceptable loli picture in its background, submit it here.
In any other case, read the guide on how to report misbehaviour for instructions.

Unfortunately, older maps did not have such strict moderation. In those cases, you can replace the background with a black image.

depends what you mean by "normal" I guess, you'll get a different answer from anyone you ask. imo it's not any more prevalent here than in other otaku-adjacent spaces online

what?!

This type of content is definitely not wanted here and if you stumble upon inappropriate content of any kind, please report it by using the given report functions.
