Hi tsuqwer!

Find a 1x1 pixel image - most guarantee will be found in custom skins - and replace:

mania-key1
mania-key1D
mania-key2
mania-key2D
mania-keyS
mania-keySD

---

If it doesn't work, head down to your skin.ini file and then remove the following command:

[Mania]
Keys: 4

//Delete all that has KeyImage# and KeyImage#D vv
KeyImage0: [filepath]
KeyImage0D: [filepath]
KeyImage1: [filepath]
KeyImage1D: [filepath]
KeyImage2: [filepath]
KeyImage2D: [filepath]
KeyImage3: [filepath]
KeyImage3D: [filepath]

Save the skin.ini and reload your skin in-game - Ctrl + Shift + Alt + S

There is no need for that. What JAB wrote is pretty clear.

  1. Find a 1x1 transparent PNG inside your skin's folder
  2. Make a bunch of copies and rename them to the filenames listed by JAB.
    1. If your skin has mania mania-key# and mania-key#D files ending with @2x, you should delete them and only leave the transparent pngs
  3. Go back into the game, and refresh the skin with Ctrl + Shift + Alt + S
  4. If it worked, you're done. If not, continue.
  5. Find the skin.ini file inside your skin's folder. Open it with a text editor.
  6. Scroll down and find the [Mania] section with the Keys: option, matching the keycount you're trying to edit.
  7. Delete any lines containing KeyImage#: and KeyImage#D:
  8. Save the skin.ini file with Ctrl + S
then go back into the game, and refresh the skin with Ctrl + Shift + Alt + S

Putting the skin of receptors into 1*1 pixel by using window's drawing tool and save it
