osu crashes on start up

Problem details:
i installed osu again on my windows 11 and now it doesnt create a shorcut on my deskop , i have to install it into custom folder on desktop and when i run osu it updates the game and then opens and crashes instantly , this goes over and over again

Have you removed all previous osu files (from ...\AppData\Local\osu! )?
Try to delete all files related to osu.

osu! version: Stable 20240513.1
Did you create the shortcut by going into the osu! folder, finding the osu!.exe and making a shortcut by right clicking it?

Lets see if there is anything as to why its crashing.

Hello, i got the same problem when starting up osu aswell since the update today, after the update the application keeps starts up on the "Your client is up to date page" and closes.
Cant even open the game from now on. I even restarted my pc and it wont work also.

Was this log the only crash log you found in the event viewer?

Do you have any pending OS updates?

You can try downloading and running the repair tool for .net framework here

or you can try downloading the most recent .net framework here

The application seems to work fine in C: but keep getting error with the same files in D:
While osu! is in the D: path, can you try holding shift while launching the .exe and when/if a dialog window opens up can you see if hitting the 'repair osu!' button seems to do anything or fix the issue?

repair osu dosent fix anything, it just feels the same with the same error
