how to change vertical and horizontal sensitivity separately?

Problem details:

I want to have a higher vertical sensitivity but I don't have software with my mouse to do this.



osu! version: Stable 20240820.1 (latest)

I don't think that is possible.

I could be wrong though.

not possible using the current game settings, and I also can't think of any mouse drivers that would let you do this.

That's what I saw on the internet, but in 2024 it's impossible to do that, my mind doesn't want to believe it.

It could probably be supported in lazer (and I think someone even tried) but to be frank I'm not sure I get why anyone would ever want this.

If I want to do this it's because I play with a strange position of my fingers on my mouse ( my fingers are on the back of my mouse ) as a result I have more difficulty going from top to bottom than from right to left. So to reduce this effect I play with high sensitivity but it is not a perfect solution. Furthermore a screen is not a square, it seems logical to me to have a higher vertical sensitivity than horizontal .
