Pokemon icons were added into the app, which you can tap to "catch". I've already found 3 icons in Singapore. Singapore River, Jurong West Ave 2, MacRitchie Reservoir

That would be something I would try. Too bad I don't own a Smartphone. Maybe I can get someone to download it.
