1) Turn off combobursts in Options.
2) Play a map with custom comboburst audio files.
This just seems pretty strange when you hear random sounds throughout a map with no accompanying comboburst image.
I first noticed this a few years ago, but maps with custom comboburst sounds are so rare that I never noticed and forgot to report it
