Problem details: Is there a reason that plays set with AP (autoplay/automatic cursor movement) don't show up in your local scores? Just curious.

I'll counter with a question: why would you want autoplay scores in your local leaderboards?

If you really want to, you can let autoplay finish and then press F2 to export the replay, and that will work, but I'm not really sure what the point of having an unbeatable auto score on your leaderboards would be.

What exactly do you mean with 'unbeatable'? Playing with AP still requires me to tap to the rythym which in turn means i can miss and/or get bad accuracy which would give it less or more score depending on the accuracy, no?

As for why?
- Because not every attempt on a map is an FC and i'd like to be able to see my progression on a map without having to save a replay after each attempt.

you shouldn't be playing AP if you're looking for progression, it's not a serious mod, and changes the game enough to the point that putting it on the leaderboards would be stupid

for global leaderboards i can completely understand it but why would it matter if it's a 'serious' mod for local leaderboards? Lazer has a ton of mods which are purely meant for fun and yet they still appear in local leaderboards.


Anyways, i was just asking if there was a reason behind it not having a local leaderboard and i can pretty much guess it at this point so you can close this thread.

Hold on one second, I was only talking about autoplay (which you mentioned in the thread title, confusingly).

Autopilot scores - at least in lazer - definitely should show up on your local leaderboard after you set them. They might just not be where you'd want them to be because of the 0.1x multiplier. If you're seeing something different then that is a bug and I'd ask for a video showing this.

Ah... I meant autopilot and not autoplay 😭.
Sorry for the confusion.

I haven't played lazer in a while (had a bad pc back then with frequent fps drops) and couldn't find anything about AP scores being saved locally either when searching for it on google). Has this always been a thing on lazer?

If it's true that AP plays are saved in local leaderboards on lazer then i'll for sure be switching to lazer.


Again sorry for the confusion with autopilot and autoplay. I should've double checked what i wrote 😭.
